Since moving to the Charlottesville area in 2000 Susan has been practicing real estate. It’s what she loves to do. Helping people seems like second nature to her. She always puts others first and always finds a way around and outside the box. Her creative way of thinking has earned her many awards and has made her successful as a realtor.

Susan has earned many designations over the years and continues her education on a daily basis. She obtained her Broker’s license in 2013. She has attended many home staging classes, photography classes and social media classes. Susan is very knowledgeable in new construction and holds many designations in that area. She takes advantage of all the latest and greatest tools available and knows her way around a computer. She understands what the buyers are looking for and how to showcase each individual home. Susan continues to keep up and excel with the ever changing world.

Susan is not a typical agent, she is very patient and understanding. She works well with others and is excellent at follow up. She takes the extra time with each of her clients and her clients never feel rushed or pressured. She goes the extra step and shows her clients the area, local schools and helps them determine the best place to live for their family. Susan has maintained the top 10 percentile for the last 8 years and continues to do with sales reaching over 10 million each year.

Susan has 3 children, ages 10, 13 and 21. She lives in the Keswick area and loves it. “I grew up in the country, it only made sense to raise my children here”, she says. She has been involved with the local Girl Scouts, can be found coaching youth soccer and volunteers on a regular basis at Pachem. She has been a mentor to the homeless at the Haven as well. She has recently helped a homeless single mother of a 6 month old not only find housing but furnished the entire 3 bedroom home from donations. She has been on 3 mission trips to Guatemala and Puerto Rico for hurricane relief efforts. She keeps her children active in lacrosse, track, gymnastics, scouts and youth groups at church. She is reliable and is always looking out for one’s best interest.
